GRDC is a non-profit, charitable organization supported by grants and donations. We work to make the Grandmont Rosedale neighborhood an even better place to live, work and raise a family. GRDC relies on the financial support of many individuals to achieve our goals.  There are many ways to give. Donations of any size are welcome and your donation is tax deductible.

Neighborhood Legacy Fund

By contributing to the GRDC Neighborhood Legacy Fund, GRDC's permanent endowment fund, you can make a donation to our community that will literally last forever.  An endowment fund is designed to have its principal grow over time, while paying out a percentage of the fund's asset value each year to support the work of GRDC.

Our fund has been established at the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan.

Donate Your Used Car

Do you have an old car you would like to get rid of but don't want to be bothered with the hassle of selling a used car?  Why not donate it to GRDC and take a deduction off of your taxes? Donating a used car to GRDC is as easy as picking up the phone and calling Charity Motors at 313-255-1000.  Tell Charity Motors that you would like to name GRDC as the beneficiary of your donation. They'll handle the rest - they'll even pick your car up.

Make a Planned Gift to GRDC

Planned giving is a term that describes a whole range of giving options that go beyond simply writing a check.  These can be anything from including GRDC in your will, to making gifts of stock or other assets, to setting up a Charitable Gift Annuity.  This kind of giving is not as complicated as it sounds and can often provide substantial tax benefits to the donor.

Join the $15 on the 15th Campaign!

$15 on the 15th is a new donation campaign designed to make giving easier than ever. Sign up for $15 on the 15th and a $15.00 donation will be charged to your credit
card on the 15th of the month. By joining $15 on the 15th you will join a special
dedicated group who know how important it is that the Grandmont Rosedale neighborhoods remain a vibrant community of choice. Together we can continue our 26 years of good work towards that goal. As a $15 on the 15th club member you will receive sneak peeks into special projects, a “I’m a $15 on the 15th Member!” button, and other fun thank yous. For GRDC $15 on the 15th means a steady stream of support that will allow us to plan our projects with the
assurance that we have the funding to complete them.

While we take pride in all our accomplishments, we know that they are not ours alone. You, our donors, deserve a huge high five, a round of applause and a standing ovation. Become a $15 on the 15th member and be a part of GRDC’s future!

Support the Grandmont Rosedale NeighborWay

Help us celebrate and connect the good in our neighborhood! The NeighborWay is a proposed wayfinding path through the Grandmont Rosedale community which will encourage healthy living and enjoyment of its built and natural beauty. The NeighborWay will link together points of interest and community projects including parks, gardens, and public art installations. Along the path, we will enhance three "Community Hubs" on current project sites, featuring elements that encourage gathering, provide shelter and orient visitors to the neighborhood.

The project is being implemented by GRDC in collaboration with Project561 – an initiative that allows high school students to fulfill service requirements while working alongside communities through experiential learning projects.
